In the following video you will see a brief description of a condition called asbestosis. Like most asbestos related illnesses asbestos results from asbestos exposure and generally develops many years, or even decades, after initial exposure. While asbestosis may afflict someone in a relatively mild form, it can also be highly debilitating, or even deadly.
Asbestosis
Two of the most important factors relating to the severity of an individual’s asbestosis are the amount of asbestos the victim was exposed to and the length of time the asbestos exposure lasted. It is believed that asbestosis can produce more deadly asbestos related illnesses such as mesothelioma and lung cancer.
Asbstosis is a serious illness, but not nearly as serious as mesothelioma, which is often deadly.
